In the history of the supreme court there have been times where they have had all respect from the public, and there have been times where they have had zero respect from the public because of how they ruled a case. The supreme court is way more than just one or two justices making decisions of thousands of different trials, they have to go through thousands of petitions a week and they have to review all these petitions and and pick and choose which ones they want to take. The supreme court must also disction write ups, like a write up about what the dicided to rule for a case and why. The power of the court is the trust earned the trust of the people.
